Hey, I’m Darniesha.

I am a facilitator of conversations about grief, survival, and what it means to keep living.

My Approach

Grief does not just live in the heart.
It lives in the nervous system.

Much of what we label as burnout, anxiety, stagnation, or “falling behind” can be unprocessed survival responses to loss.

My approach combines lived experience, education, and facilitation to help people recognize survival mode, understand its patterns, and move toward regulation and clarity.

Little Wings, Big Love

A true love story of loss, despair, and hope. It's a real story, so be mindful that it can be a bit graphic. You'll get to feel the love she has for her angel baby, the confusion, the trauma, and the hope from this unsuspected, life changing ordeal.

While You Grieve: A Grief Jouranal

A guided journal created to support the ongoing experience of loss. It offers space for reflection, regulation, and honest processing without pressure to “move on.”

Understanding What Stayed

A reflective exploration of life after loss.
Rather than focusing on what was taken, this book examines what remains; identity, memory, patterns, and the parts of us that grief reshapes but does not erase.

About Me

I am a grief-informed educator, speaker, and facilitator focused on the long-term impact of loss on the nervous system and identity.

My perspective is shaped by lived experience and formal study. I lost my fatherwhen I was 14 and years later, my 4 month old son. Those losses did not only affect how I felt, they reshaped how I functioned, related, and moved through the world.

With a background in Business and Healthcare Administration and a Master of Education in Adult Education and Training, I approach grief through both personal insight and educational structure. My work centers on high functioning survival mode; the experience of continuing to perform while internally dysregulated.

I explore how grief changes us, and what remains.
